"To celebrate my new "retirement status" and inspired by the itinerary of "Food, Farm, and Fleece", all interests of mine, I jumped at the chance to travel to Ecuador. But what "sealed the deal" for me is the focus of Purposeful Nomad, traveling with a small group of women with similar interests, and having personalized, meaningful travel and cultural connections that will deepen and enrich my understanding of place and people in an area I have never traveled to before. I am a "hands on" learner and Purposeful Nomad offers a travel experience of both "giving and receiving" that goes beyond learning from a book, travel documentary, or what other travel companies offer.
