“Purposeful Nomad did a great job”
★★★★★
This was a wonderful trip. The Cuban people are some of the friendliest I have ever met. An amazing, vibrant country. Purposeful Nomad did a great job planning this and was very responsive to our questions. Our Cuban guide, Ruben Javier Perez, was perhaps the best thing of all. It was a privilege getting to know him.

“beyond my expectations!”
★★★★★
This trip went beyond my expectations! It was extremely well organized and pertinent information was provided in a timely manner. My questions were answered before I even asked! Where to start with all the accolades! I think first and foremost was our tour guides; Inanna from Purposeful Nomad was awesome! She is such a wonderful person and so attentive to details. My customs line was very slow moving, but Inanna texted me to check in and provided a picture of Virendra who was meeting me after customs. I was so appreciative to all the attention to details right through our trip. Each day was an awesome experience of seeing new sites, understanding the culture, experiencing the food and fabulous conversation with exceptional people. All our accommodations were excellent, clean with friendly staff and well situated to our activities. Govind provided us with insight to the customs and beliefs of the people of India. Govind and Virendra were so accommodating, welcoming us into their homes and providing us with unique experiences. The topic of healing came up and Govind arranged a healing ceremony in his home. We had experiences that you would not get traveling independently. This was my first adventure with an online travel group and I would definitely travel with Purposeful Nomad again!

“The accommodations were a delight!”
★★★★★
Lovely trip and I so appreciated connecting with the local Samthali Community in both Setrawa and Jodhpur, as well as all the personal touches and introductions. The accommodations at Palaces (no less!) were a delight and anytime I can experience a new country off the tourist beat is a big plus. There were so many moving parts and I appreciate the flexibility, the introduction of experiences not on the itinerary. It's a lot to juggle and all was done very professionally. Also, I loved that we were able to spend time with the women and girls although it did feel like the craft workers especially were taken away from time on their projects to mingle with us. I'll definitely recommend Purposeful Nomads. Thank you and I wish you all success.

“best travel experience of my life”
★★★★★
This trip was probably the best overall travel experience of my life...and it’s been a long life filled with many wonderful travel experiences so I wasn’t necessarily expecting to be wowed.. I think for me the standouts were the days spent in Havana, the amazingly talented and generous Julia Cumes, the mojitos at our hotel, Kaitlin’s attention to detail, our fabulous guide Ruben, the blue bus, the overall beauty of the country, and the restful Playa Larga.. I could go on and on but I’ll end with saying that travelling with 11 other women of all ages was beyond incredible.. I just loved it and I can’t wait for our reunion. I love you #PNCuba2019

“deeper experience than typical tourism”
★★★★★
Food, Farm, and Fleece was more than I could ever have hoped for. Chocolate, alpacas, stunning mountains, and fantastic people - I loved every minute of the trip. We cooked an amazing meal with Michelle, stumbled upon an indigenous solstice festival and were invited to participate, learned in depth about chocolate-making and alpaca-shearing, hiked around a crater lake, and had an incredible amount of fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone with a sense of adventure who is looking for a deeper experience than typical tourism.

“incredible experience”
★★★★★
Purposeful Nomad really opened a door to the Dominican Republic that I couldn't have opened by myself; the special connection to the land and the people made the trip extraordinary. When you add to that the opportunity to get to know fantastic women in such a beautiful place, it was an incredible experience. I cannot recommend highly enough!

“just got to show up and enjoy!”
★★★★★
I decided to go to the DR with Purposeful Nomad this February because I love traveling but my hubby's work doesn't allow him as much vacation time as running my own business allows me. This trip did all the heavy lifting for me. I had to do about zero planning and just got to show up and enjoy my new friends and a beachy good time!

“such a unique experience”
★★★★★
I loved meeting the indigenous community in Cotopaxi and watching them shear the Alpacas and spin their fur into thread. It was such a unique experience, and the community was so kind and welcoming, I didn’t want to leave. I really felt so lucky to be able to travel with so many badass babes. We were given a nice balance of group activities and alone time and options. Plus Caitlin and Jess are amazing and so much fun!

“a sense of independence”
★★★★★
Traveling with my mom was amazing because it gave me a sense of independence when I wanted it but also allowed me to have the comfort of a friend whenever it was needed.

“diverse, active and varied”
★★★★★
Having found myself in a transitional stage of life and searching for unique ways to honor my new sense of freedom, Purposeful Nomad came into my reality at just the right time. PN not only fulfills my desire to immerse myself hand's on into Ecuador's culture, food, and people, but also affords me the chance to do it with like-minded WOMEN. The itinerary is diverse, active, and varied. It bridges the gap between cultures providing an opportunity to share and experience each other authentically.

“authentic and amazing”
★★★★★
The trip to Ecuador was authentic and amazing. I was so excited to experience it with my daughter and my expectations were superseded. Traveling together can build a relationship. My daughter spent time with other tour members, which she loved, but also time with me.

“goes beyond what other travel companies offer”
★★★★★
To celebrate my new "retirement status" and inspired by the itinerary of "Food, Farm, and Fleece", all interests of mine, I jumped at the chance to travel to Ecuador. But what "sealed the deal" for me is the focus of Purposeful Nomad, traveling with a small group of women with similar interests, and having personalized, meaningful travel and cultural connections that will deepen and enrich my understanding of place and people in an area I have never traveled to before. I am a "hands on" learner and Purposeful Nomad offers a travel experience of both "giving and receiving" that goes beyond learning from a book, travel documentary, or what other travel companies offer.

“I enjoyed the balance of activities with free time”
★★★★★
Caitlin did a great job organizing the trip & communicated really clearly with us beforehand. I enjoyed the balance of activities with free time, and really appreciated the time for meditation & journaling. Carlie made us truly fabulous vegetarian food, which made me so happy!
