EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW

Tucked away in the far corner of Northwest Africa, Morocco is brimming with diversity and is an eclectic blend of culture, art, history and language. Its cities are captivating, its mountains are mesmerizing, its food is mouth-watering and its small villages are completely enchanting. Morocco is truly a traveler's colorful dream.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to Morocco with two professional rug buyers and importers. Purposeful Nomad has partnered up with Jessica & Lindsay, the owners of the gorgeous store, Indigo & Saffron. They will bring their insight, knowledge and love for Moroccan textiles. Not only will we visit reputable and trustworthy rug shops but we will see the dyeing, weaving and creating process that these artisans put into their work. We will visit different communities and families who specialize in different styles and patterns of rugs.

While rugs are the theme of this trip that's not all we will focus on! We will learn about magnificent Moroccan architecture, eat our way through the winding streets of Fez, Chefchaouen and Meknes, explore the meandering markets and zen out in a mansion overlooking the Atlantic ocean. With our expert local guides the true magic and mystery of Morocco will be unveiled.
